Oar Painting
Out first EMM team volunteer effort was a great success. Thank you to all who painted, taped, sanded, and ran oars all over creation. All 72 oars were painted with one coat and around 40% with a second. I will let everyone know if we will have more FIRE RED painting to do next Saturday. Thank you EMM.

Actually, we did our 72 assigned oars PLUS all the sculling oars. Great job and thanks to all those who brought food and drink to sustain us!
You Guys, this is so awesome! When did you get the blog? And what's up with the Florida trip? Could you rub it in any more? Just seeing a picture of the sun and the clear water made my stomach hurt. You look like you had so much fun! And you look peaceful. I'm soooo jealous! If you get a photo of the new oar send it to me and I will put it in the newsletter that I am desperately trying to finish before the Spring Fling. Great job on the site! Kristi

All of you were totally awesome. You sanded, cleaned and painted [ sometimes twice! ].
I never knew we could move oars to so many different locations in 4 hours!
I would hire you guys in a heartbeat!
Thank you all for all the hard work and for a job well done.
Painting in any form is not easy, and as a contractor I must say that it the least favorite job that I have done.[ drywall tops the list!!!]
All of you were totally on top of it. The oars look great. The paint finish is great.
